NEW CLUB BANGER YOLO

Lil Jon & I added some vocals to the already sick track 1,2,3,4 by Laidback Luke, Chuckie & Martin Solveig to take it to a new level. RIP MCA OF THE BEASTIE BOYS

Every morning I wake up & grab my phone to see whats going on in the world. Today, one of the first tweets I read was from Global Grind announcing that Adam Yauch aka MCA of the Beastie Boys was dead at the age of 47.

He was a true legend in Hip-Hop & a huge influence to me. For those who know my history, my old group got its name from a Beastie Boys lyric so you already know the connection that I had with the group.

To be honest though, growing up I was not the biggest fan of their early albums. Once Hello Nasty was released, I began to go back & recognize their genius. Their music broke down color walls & is enjoyed by people of all walks of life, which is the way I think it should be.

NEW MASHUP EP DROPPING MAY 8th

LIL JON AND LMFAO DRINK BOOTLEGS

Half of the excitement I get as a Remixer comes from having an Acapella that is rare or unreleased. So when Lil Jon sent the Acapella to his track "Drink" featuring LMFAO, I was pretty pumped to do something with it. We actually did these bootlegs back in December, but since the track was getting an official release in February, he wanted to hold off until after the video & Remixes were out there. So after previewing them in my sets for the last few months, they are now available to you!

Lil Jon & I did a crunk Blend for the hip-hop DJs over Soulja Boy's "Crank That" Instrumental and a dance Mash over Bingo Player's monster track "Rattle"! At the time we made the "Rattle" Bootleg, only Miami Ski Team had put anything with that track and now there are way too many to count! Regardless, they both go hard, so download & share them with the World!

CHANGED THE WAY YOU KISSED ME REMIX

I collaborated with fellow ATLien DJ Rapko on this Example "Changed The Way You Kissed Me" Remix. The original version of this track has a ton of views on YouTube and with the recent Remix Contest (this was our entry), you can expect to hear DJs spinning this song. When we first started working on this Remix I couldn't stand the original but I think our version gives it a little extra something. SOMEBODY THAT I USED TO KNOW MASH

The original version of this Gotye song is amazing & while it is big, I feel it is only going to blow up more. There is already hundreds of Dance Remixes to this one (most of which are not that good), so I decided to put my own twist on it & make it crunk for the club. I chopped up Lil Wayne's "Lollipop" Instrumental & sequenced the Gotye & Kimbra Acapella over it. Enjoy & as always feel free to share it!

NOTORIOUS BIG RARE VERSES DJ KONTROL EDITS

If you know me, you already know that I am a huge Biggie fan & with the Anniversary of his death this week I wanted to give back something special. Before there were blogs with any song you could ever want, I would comb every Record Store I passed for CD versions of tracks that The Notorious B.I.G. appeared on. I wanted to put some of these rare gems from my personal collection to good use, so I decided to make some DJ Edits of his verses you rarely here & which are hard to find in high quality. All except one of the 20 in the ZIP ("Cunt Renaissance") were ripped directly from CD & edited from there.

Most of these did not have Instrumentals available so I had to get creative with the edits. These aren't meant for some Freejay looking for Biggie's "Greatest Hits", but rather for DJs who are looking for something different to sneak into their Hip-Hop sets. He murdered every track he got on & everyone loves his voice so you really can't go wrong with him. Many of these are Quick Edits too, so you can easily get in & out of them. One of my personal favorites, "Who's The Man" is from Doctor Dre & Ed Lover's album "Back Up Off Me", who at the time were hosts of "Yo MTV Raps." Big ends his stellar verse with "Who's the man... I see him every morning in the mirror"... classic!

LOVE IN YA MOUTH KILO EDIT

I was showing my boy Huda some basics in Ableton so we decided to make an Intro/ Outro version of "Love In Ya Mouth". This old school classic is from Kilo Ali featuring Big Boi (from Outkast) and their subject matter is similar to another hit that came out in the late 90's, Akinyele's "Put It In Your Mouth"!
